Susan entered the real estate business directly out of college, making her a true lifer in this profession! She led a successful sales career in the Wilmington, Delaware area where she quickly became a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club, back when a million dollars was a lot of money. As a career professional, Susan has served as the President of her local Association of Realtors and also served on many state and national committees and boards. She managed a top sales office for one of the country’s largest real estate firms where she was responsible for the training and coaching of a team of top-producing professionals. As a specialist in customer service and business development, she brings a depth of marketing experience to her practice.
Susan and her husband started the second chapter of their lives on Daufuskie Island, SC in 2006 where they instantly fell in love with the South Carolina Lowcountry, with the ultimate goal of making it their home. Now in the next chapter, Susan is with Charter One Realty as the leader of her real estate team where she brings her 30 plus years of real estate experience to Coastal Carolina.
She is looking forward to sharing the joy of her wonderful lifestyle with visitors new and old to the Daufuskie Island and Hilton Head Area!
Silvia and her husband, Jordan, live on Daufuskie Island, SC after relocating to South Carolina from Columbus, Ohio. Raised on Kiawah Island, Silvia chose to return to her low-country roots with her husband and their school-aged children. They found their forever home in the Haig Point Club and Community. Silvia attended Duke University and then completed her JD at Michigan and enjoyed many years practicing law. With a background in the law and decades of relocation under her belt, real estate was a natural progression. Silvia has been active with the Haig Point Club, serving on its Board of Directors, House Committee and Legal Committee. Prior to living on Daufuskie, Silvia called Sea Pines home, and two of her children have attended school on Hilton Head Island. She is well versed in the lifestyles Daufuskie and Hilton Head offer. As a member of the Susan Taylor Team, Silvia brings her straightforward approach, extensive contract knowledge and her passion for the Low Country to her practice!
Friends and clients alike know that Erica has been perfecting how to live the ideal island lifestyle since relocating from Green Bay, Wisconsin to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999. During that time she studied graphic design and competed on scholarship with their equestrian team. In 2001 her family decided to kiss the snow goodbye and the Lowcountry has been home ever since.
In two decades she has enjoyed living in Savannah, Bluffton, and Charleston before anchoring on Daufuskie in 2012. Erica was originally licensed in 2006 as a sales agent in Wisconsin with her family's brokerage. She joined Charter One Realty as an agent in 2014 and sells Daufuskie Island real estate almost exclusively. She was hired to join the company's elite support staff as a Marketing Coordinator in 2017, where she applies her print and digital publishing skills to top producing agents in Belfair, Colleton River, Palmetto Bluff and beyond. She contributes the culmination of this experience plus her extensive personal network and knowledge of the area to the Susan Taylor Team's clients, customers, contractors, vendors, and friends.
Erica is also the Founder & Executive Director of the Daufuskie Marsh Tacky Society, a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to save and secure the South Carolina State Heritage Horse on Daufuskie Island through equine-assisted programs that benefit the public. She will never forget when she fell in love with the island - it was the first time she went horseback riding on Daufuskie's pristine, sandy beaches. She is grateful to be able to share this bucket list experience as well as her knowledge about Daufuskie Island to help others fulfill their island dreams too!
